LIR-STB module is a special graphic environment that contains tools to generate thin-walled sections of arbitrary shape – open, closed, half-closed. This module contains solver that enables you to calculate sectorial and geometrical properties of the sections. You can also calculate coordinates for shear centre and centre of torsion. Diagrams of sectorial properties are generated.
LIR-STB module is integrated with LIR-VISOR module. It is possible to generate section, export it to LIR-VISOR and assign it to a certain element. If there are any forces in the specified section, you could obtain plots for normal, shear, principal and equivalent stresses.
