LIR-SB (Section of Bar) module is a special graphic environment that contains tools to generate sections of arbitrary shape. This module contains solver that enables you to calculate flexural, torsion, shear and plastic section properties. It is possible to design complex section composed of simple ones. You can also import standard shapes from LIR-SRS module. Logical (Boolean) addition and subtraction of plane figures are used to obtain section of arbitrary shape.
LIR-SB module is integrated with LIR-VISOR module. It is possible to generate section, export it to LIR-VISOR and assign it to a certain element. You can also import to LIR-SB forces obtained in analysis. This enables you to obtain distribution of stresses across the section – normal, shear, principal and equivalent stresses.
