Course 3. Information technologies for analysis and design of multi-storey buildings with MONOMAKH software.
Prerequisites: working knowledge of MS Windows, some experience using
LIRA software and DEF-PC (for session No. 4), some experience using AutoCAD
and ArchiCAD (for session No. 5). Duration: 5 days
Course Topic Includes:
1. The general MONOMAKH environment. Module BUILDING - generation of model of the structure, analysis on specified loads, evaluation of analysis results, producing the data for other modules. Module SOIL.
2. Modules BEAM, COLUMN, FOOTING, REWALL. These modules can be used in stand-alone mode or you can work with data imported from BUILDING module. Drawings with reinforcement pattern in elements.
3. Modules SLAB, DIAPHRAGM. These modules can be used in stand-alone mode or you can work with data imported from BUILDING module. Drawings with reinforcement pattern in elements.
4. Export of data from BUILDING module to LIRA software. Evaluation of design models in these software packages and differences between these models. Export of data from BUILDING module to DEF-PC software.
5. Modification of the floor plans prepared in AutoCAD in order to export design model of the structure to BUILDING module. Generation of the model in ArchiCAD in order to export it to BUILDING module. Export of the drawings from MONOMAKH software to AutoCAD. Generating reports and analysis results.
